Anonymous said: I'm a first time JoJo reader and I just finished part 3. Do you what part should I read next?

Did you start at Part 3 or read from Part 1 to Part 3? Because if you read Stardust Crusaders first, I’d actually recommend going back and reading through Phantom Blood (Part 1) and Battle Tendency (Part 2)! Phantom Blood goes by relatively quick, and Battle Tendency is just fantastic. (My personal favorite.)

After those, I would then go chronologically - following Stardust Crusaders with Diamond is Unbreakable, Golden Wind, Stone Ocean, Steel Ball Run, and then JoJolion. Golden Wind and Stone Ocean can stand up on their own if preceded by Stardust Crusaders, but part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, I think, is best experienced when you have both Jotaro and Joseph’s history behind it. Steel Ball Run is also a little bit more special when you get some of the references from the previous parts.

Unfortunately, Diamond is Unbreakable has a laughably bad translation, (though it is being redone by The Invincible Trio), so if you want to hold off on it until it’s re-translated, I’d recommend jumping into Golden Wind. Golden Wind doesn’t have great scans, but they’re definitely better than Diamond.

Hope that helps! This is just my opinion, though, if anyone wants to jump in, feel free to do so in replies.
